ABM Partners with Georgia’s 9th Largest School System to Provide Custodial Service

NEW YORK, Jan. 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ABM (NYSE: ABM), a leading provider of facility solutions, was recently awarded a contract to provide custodial services for Cherokee County School District’s 42 schools and ancillary facilities.

Located in the northern suburbs of metro Atlanta, Cherokee County School District (CCSD) is the recipient of many prestigious state and national recognitions and accreditations. The ABM Education team is providing day and night custodial services for the school district’s 5.1 million-square-feet-of-space that 4,800 teachers and staff and 42,000+ students use throughout the year.

“ABM is excited to partner with CCSD to positively impact the learning environment by ensuring clean, attractive and healthy facilities,” says ABM Education Senior Vice President of Operations Trey Brock. “Our goal is to build value for CCSD, while enabling teachers and staff to concentrate on what they do best — educate young minds.”

“We are proud to welcome the ABM team to Cherokee,” says CCSD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian Hightower. “Their willingness to go the extra mile while also taking care of the day-to-day custodial needs will positively contribute to ensuring our facilities are top-rated learning environments.”

The partnership with CCSD expands ABM’s footprint in Georgia, as well as its national custodial services portfolio.
