This Ontario beach has Greek island vibes and was named among the best in North America

It has crystal-clear waters and turquoise waves.

You don't have to travel to Florida or Mexico to enjoy one of North America's best beaches. This stunning Ontario destination, with turquoise waves and crystal shores, was named among the best on the continent.

The World's 50 Best Beaches recently revealed the 2025 list of North America's 50 Best Beaches, featuring sun-soaked destinations across Mexico, the U.S., and even a few hidden gems in Canada.

Over 1,000 travel professionals, including judges, Beach Ambassadors, and the World's 50 Beaches team, voted on the locations to determine the very best spots to visit.

Two Canadian destinations made the list, including one dreamy Ontario spot.

Indian Head Cove ranked 48th, beating the Tropic of Cancer beach in the Bahamas and Hidden Beach in Mexico.

Located in the breathtaking Bruce Peninsula National Park, the majestic inlet is known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant turquoise waves that look almost tropical. Don't be fooled, though — the water is quite chilly.

It's located near the iconic Grotto - an ancient sea cave with a hidden pool of blue water.

You won't find soft sand here. Indian Head Cove has a flat limestone shoreline that adds to its rugged beauty. It's a good idea to bring water shoes to this location.

Given its beauty, the beach can get very busy during the summer. You'll need to book a reservation online through Parks Canada to visit.

You'll need to do a bit of hiking in order to reach the beach, so wear comfortable shoes.

The only other Canadian destination to make the 2025 list of North America's 50 Best Beaches is B.C.'s San Josef Bay, coming in at number 32.

If you're dreaming of a beach getaway without a flight, this crystal-water Ontario spot will make you feel like you're on a Mediterranean vacation.
