Coles, Foodland and Dan Murphy’s are among the businesses that have been added to South Australia’s growing list of Covid-19 exposure sites.

Health authorities are scrambling to identify all possible exposure sites of the man and his 16 close contacts.

Anyone who had been at the Dan Murphy’s in Munno Para in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Saturday, July 17 from 10.30am to 11.30am and Sunday, July 18 from 11am to 11.45am must quarantine for 14 days, as well as their household contacts, and need to be tested on days one, five and 13.

The ballooning list comes as a local council announced it would close its facilities on Tuesday after a staff member tested positive.

The City of Tea Tree Gully issued a public statement on Monday night, saying SA Health informed the council about the employee’s diagnosis.

All council facilities will remain closed “out of caution” to allow health authorities and the local government to determine if there was a risk to the community.

Only waste collection services will operate.

“We are working closely with SA Health and will reopen when we are advised that it is safe to do so,” the statement read.

“We are committed to keeping our community safe and will update this page regularly.”
